Ucraina: l’Italia invia altri quattro Eurofighter per potenziare l’attività di Air Policing in Romania
Passano da 4 ad 8 gli Eurofighter impegnati in Romania con il potenziamento deciso dal Consiglio dei Ministri di venerdì 25 febbraio

Nell’ambito del rafforzamento della postura di deterrenza sul fianco est dell’Alleanza, l’Italia potenzierà la propria presenza in Romania raddoppiando il numero dei velivoli Eurofighter già operanti nella Task Force Air “Black Storm” nell’attività della NATO di Air Policing. Ulteriori quattro velivoli opereranno dalla base di Mihail Kogălniceanu di Costanza.
“L’Italia – ha dichiarato il Ministro della Difesa, On. Lorenzo Guerini – sta contribuendo con rapidità e convinzione alle decisioni prese in ambito NATO, ed il governo ha approvato una serie di significative misure che prevedono il rafforzamento della postura militare sul fianco est a seguito dell’inaccettabile e ingiustificata aggressione della Russia all’Ucraina“.
