Record alle Olimpiadi di Tokyo 2020. Gli atleti del Centro Sportivo dell’Aeronautica Militare contribuiscono al bottino di 40 medaglie per l’Italia Per la prima volta nella storia sportiva dell’Aeronautica Militare, 30 atleti hanno gareggiato per le medaglie olimpiche. Ben 4 i podi conquistati, nel tiro con l’arco, nella canoa, nella scherma e nella ginnastica ritmica a squadre, con 8 atleti medagliati: argento per l’arciere1°Aviere Capo Mauro Nespoli e per il canoista Primo Aviere Manfredi Rizza nella gara di velocità K1 200 metri, bronzo per la spadista Aviere Capo Federica Isola e per le cinque Farfalle della ginnastica ritmica nelle gare a squadre.
