La cerimonia ufficiale si terrà venerdì 1° Aprile a Palazzo Aeronautica di Roma All’evento, che avrà inizio alle ore 11,00 prenderà parte il Presidente della Repubblica, Giorgio Napolitano, unitamente al Ministro della Difesa, Onorevole Ignazio La Russa, e al Capo di Stato Maggiore della Difesa, Generale Biagio Abrate. Al termine della cerimonia, il Capo dello Stato visiterà le sale storiche di Palazzo Aeronautica.
