All’esercitazione presente anche una Delegazione della Kosovo Security Force in qualità di osservatore Martedì 13 settembre sul sedime dell’Aeroporto “E. Comani”, sede del 70° Stormo, si è tenuta un’esercitazione di simulazione emergenza dovuta ad “atterraggio pesante” con successiva estrazione di personale infortunato ad opera del personale Antincendio e Sanitario. Il70° Stormo, avente sede sull’Aeroporto Militare “Enrico Comani” di Latina, da oltre sessant’anni, rappresenta la prima tappa obbligatoria nella formazione professionale delpilota militare, poiché assolve ai compiti istituzionali di selezionare e addestrare i futuri piloti militari dell’Aeronautica Militare, delle altre Forze Armate e Corpi Armati dello Stato e cadetti di altre Nazioni, attraverso il rilascio del primo brevetto al pilotaggio, ilBrevetto di Pilota di Aeroplano(BPA).
