Martedì 26 Luglio la Scuola di Lingue Estere è stata visitata dal Prefetto di Ancona Il Colonnello Mauro Sabbione, comandante del Reparto, ha illustrato le attività dell’Ente quali i corsi di lingue, principalmente d’inglese anche in modalità e-learning, destinati ad oltre 1000 frequentatori soprattutto dell’Aeronautica ed in parte dell’Esercito, della Marina, dei Carabinieri e del Corpo Forestale dello Stato. Oltre i corsi di lingua, parte anche in italiano per militari stranieri presenti in Italia nell’ambito della cooperazione internazionale, la Scuola di Loreto effettua circa 2500 accertamenti annui nella conoscenza delle lingue attraverso un test standard N.A.T.O. (Joint Forces Language Test – J.F.L.T.), necessario ai militari per poter operare nelle sedi d’impiego all’estero. Nella scuola di Loreto inoltre vengono svolti i corsi Panel COI ossia un nuovo modulo di insegnamento della durata di circa tre mesi per personale interforze impiegato presso gli ATOC (Air Terminal Operation Center ovvero in Air mobility Operation Unit e per personale impegnato per il NATO response forces. Nell’occasione sono state inoltre visitate le strutture logistiche e didattiche a disposizione, che contribuiscono a fare della S.L.E. un vero e proprio “Polo Linguistico di Forza Armata” proiettato sempre più ad operare in una prospettiva interforze ed internazionale.
