Dal 20 al 22 Maggio l’incontro dell’Ass. Italiana di Medicina Aeronautica e Spaziale, organizzato con il Corpo Sanitario Aeronautico Il convegno accreditato ai fini dell’ECM per medici, infermieri e psicologici, vedrà la partecipazione di illustri relatori italiani e stranieri. Nel programma, articolato in 6 sessioni scientifiche (Lo Spazio, Fisiologia Aerospaziale, Aspetti di medicina legale e regolamentare aeronautica, Operational medicine and aeromedical evacuation, Medicina clinica aeronautica, Fattore umano e fatica) ed in una esercitazione pratica di evacuazione aeromedica con velivolo SAR (Search and Rescue) del 15° Stormo CSAR di Pratica di Mare (Roma), verranno discussi argomenti di estremo interesse ed attualità con ricadute sia di ordine clinico che sociale. Costituita nel 1952, l’AIMAS è la più antica associazione europea del settore. Con una impostazione inizialmente universitaria fondata sui grandi nomi della ricerca aeromedica italiana, si è progressivamente arricchita del contributo degli Ufficiali medici del Corpo Sanitario Aeronautico che oggi rappresentano il corpus della associazione. La doppia radice civile e militare è quindi validamente rappresentata nell’AIMAS, che diviene così legittimata a rappresentare il pensiero aeromedico italiano nel contesto scientifico nazionale ed internazionale;a livello europeo l’AIMAS rappresenta l’Italia nell’ambito della European Society of Aerospace Medicine in cui confluiscono professionisti ed associazioni di tutti i paesi europei che coltivano interessi biomedici in ambito aerospaziale.
