The Exercise Director, Colonel Giovanni Franchini, complimented all the participants. The entire and complex logistical planning, however, was entrusted to the AM Logistics Command, which, thanks to the various subordinate units actively involved in the exercise, tested its ability to quickly deploy personnel, equipment, and infrastructure in an isolated area from which to conduct support operations to assist the population affected by severe natural disasters or an air accident. In this context, the 3rd Squadron of Villafranca, with the contribution of the various technical departments responsible for maintenance, telecommunications and supplies of the Armed Forces, has established an Advanced Base Post at the Parchi de L’Aquila Airport, equipped with all the necessary services for flight support and operation management, using camp-based command and control facilities, mobile communication systems, a mobile weather station, refueling services and security for the base. At the PBA, an Advanced Medical Post (PMA) has been activated, staffed by healthcare personnel from the Main Infirmary A.M. of Verona Villafranca and the Auxiliary Corps of Volunteer Nurses of the Italian Red Cross, with the collaboration of the Gran Sasso Soccorso Public Assistance Service, with functions both as an advanced medical station within the exercise scenario and as a first aid post in case of real needs for the participating personnel.

For the Air Force, crews and helicopters from the 15th Squadron in Cervia, the 72nd Squadron in Frosinone, and the 9th Squadron in Grazzanise (Ce) participated together with the remote-controlled aircraft of the 32nd Squadron in Amendola (Fg). The National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps coordinated all ground activities, ensuring, with its own rescue teams, in conjunction with those of the Guardia di Finanza, the Corpo Forestale dello Stato and the Gran Sasso National Park and the Laga Mountains, the recovery of personnel dispersed in the harsh environment of the Gran Sasso.
The participation of crews and helicopters from Spain and France as well as the presence of observers from Jordan and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia have given greater importance to the event, allowing for fruitful exchange of experiences and discussions.
