AMiCERT

Certification body

AMiCERT is the Certification Body (OdC) of the Italian Air Force.

In 2019, it obtained accreditation from the National Single Body (ACCREDIA), which attests to the competence, independence and impartiality of the non-profit Operational Certification Body.

Ours “mission” is to combine innovation and tradition, which have always represented distinctive elements of the Armed Force, in service of the Country System and in line with the vision of a leaner and more efficient Public Administration aimed at optimising available resources and simplifying decision-making processes.

Quality Policy

Quality Policies

AMiCERT is a Certification Body (OdC) that certifies the conformity of Professional Figures and Quality Management Systems.

In this regard, the ODC implements a certification system designed to ensure, in compliance with regulations and within a free market, under the control of ACCREDIA (the sole national accreditation body), the participation of interested parties in the certification, without the dominance of individual interests, undue conditions, or discrimination.

In pursuit of its objectives, the Committee:

  • implement procedures to maintain the confidentiality of information obtained or derived from the performance of certification activities, at all levels of its structure, including any external committees/bodies/persons. The procedures also concern the preservation of the same information;
  • recognises the fundamental importance of impartiality in carrying out its certification activities for Professional Figures and Quality Management Systems, for certification activities, as well as for maintenance and renewal activities; undertakes to identify and investigate all “risk areas” relating to impartiality, competence, confidentiality, communication and the proper management of any complaints. To this end, also to monitor the potential threat to impartiality, the Certification Body periodically draws up a document relating to risk analysis;
  • ensures the availability of information relating to Certificates issued, suspended or revoked through punctual communication to Accredia, for subsequent insertion by the Body into the specific database accessible via the website;
  • By means of its Management System, through the planning, implementation, verification and continuous improvement of activities, it aims to guarantee high-quality certification services, in adherence to the principles established in this Policy. To this end, the Certification Body also monitors customer satisfaction by requesting the voluntary completion of specific questionnaires.feedback).

Convinced that every SRA must provide a service commensurate with expectations and requirements, directly proportional to the level of preparation, experience, competence and training of the available resources, AMiCERT centers its actions, with a view to continuous improvement, on the professional development of its permanent staff and external collaborators, through a structured training programme, periodically reviewed and updated according to needs or planned changes.

AMiCERT adopts appropriate internal and external communication to ensure the constant involvement of staff and timely information for users. In its desire to provide a high-profile service, AMiCERT remains available to assess any new certification needs, appropriately enhancing its specific capabilities and competencies.

Auditor

The Auditor is a figure who operates on multiple levels and can work as a first, second, and third party. In the first case, they perform Internal Auditing (IA), which is an audit on behalf of their own company. This has become an essential component for sound business management and, therefore, an effective management tool.

The function of AI requires a deep understanding of a company's decision-making mechanisms and operational processes, and is expressed through a series of analyses, assessments, and verifications aimed at ensuring the overall reliability of an organisation's governance system.

The second-party auditor, on the other hand, is tasked by their own company to certify suppliers.

Finally, the third-party auditor carries out an audit in their capacity as a certifier on behalf of a certification body and visits companies that request it to grant new certification, renew a certificate, fulfil the annual surveillance visit, and update the certification.

Project manager

The Project Manager is one of the most widespread roles in the national and international labour market. With the publication of the UNI 11648:2016 standard, the legislator has clearly defined the knowledge, skills, and abilities that a Project Manager must possess to manage the projects entrusted to them. The Project Manager (PM) is a professional who has the knowledge, experience, and capabilities necessary to manage any type of project through the use of project management discipline. In addition to technical skills, the PM must be able to manage the project within its application context (contextual skills) and with all stakeholders involved (behavioural skills).
