Breda Ba.15

BREDA-BA-

A two-seater tandem cabin monoplane, the Breda 15 had a wooden lattice fuselage made in two detachable sections, dual, disengageable-in-flight controls, and a variable incidence stabilizer.

The Ba.15 was an aircraft that could easily be converted into a seaplane.

The Air Force used a total of 255 units, including prototypes, standard models and seaplanes. Starting in 1930, it distributed the Ba.15s to the autonomous flying squadrons of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ZAT, and for liaison duties, to the military commands of civil flying schools.

The greatest use was by air touring squadrons and sections.

In May 1936, the Royal Air Force still had 21 Ba.15s and, to extend their service life, a special committee decided to have some of them converted into single-seaters.
