VISIT OF THE CHIEF OF SMA TO SCHOOLS/3RD A.R. COMMAND.

On Wednesday 10th February, Gen. S.A. Tei, welcomed on arrival by Gen.S.A. Gargini, addressed the personnel of the Schools Command/3rd A.R. He was received by Air Squad General Giampiero Gargini, Commander of the Air Force Schools/3rd Air Region. The meeting with military and civilian personnel took place in the Officers' Club hall, where all commanders of the subordinate bodies were also present. In his welcoming speech, General Tei expressed his full satisfaction with all the objectives achieved by the Schools Command, and in particular he wished to thank all the personnel who, by working with great skill, made the relocation of the Schools Command to Bari possible. With a touch of nostalgia, General Tei also recalled how his visit to Bari had revived memories of his years spent as a young pilot at the flying schools in Lecce and Amendola.
