The aircraft, which took off from Ciampino at 17:00 local time, landed at Reggio Calabria airport after 50 minutes of flight and, after boarding the little patient lying in a thermal incubator and accompanied by her parents and under the supervision of a medical team, at 18:35 local time after takeoff from the Calabrian airport, arrived at Peretola airport in Florence at 19:50 local time, where an ambulance transferred her to the hospital in the Tuscan capital. Meanwhile, the Situation Room of the Air Force Command received two more requests for intervention, one from the Prefecture of Naples and the other from the Prefecture of Bari, and ordered the use of the same aircraft for these needs. The aircraft therefore returned to Ciampino at 21:00 local time for crew change, and departed after 30 minutes for Napoli Capodichino to transport a 59-year-old man who needed a liver transplant at the Modena Transplantation Center. At 23:30 the aircraft landed in Bologna, where an ambulance was waiting to transport the patient to the Emilia Romagna hospital. The aircraft then took off at 23:45 towards Bari for the transport of a 54-year-old patient who needed a liver transplant at the ‘Cisanello’ hospital in Pisa. After the boarding operations in the Puglia city, the aircraft departed at 01:00 on Wednesday 3 March to land in Pisa after an hour of flight. An ambulance was waiting for the patient to transport him to the Tuscan hospital. The aircraft then returned to Ciampino where it landed at 03:00.
