The students visited the facilities of the 9th Wing “F. Baracca” in Grazzanise. Welcomed by the Commander of the 9th Wing, Colonel Maurizio Cocci, the young students and accompanying teaching staff had the opportunity on this occasion to participate, together with the Base personnel, in the flag-raising ceremony. Afterwards, the students were able to watch the screening of some informative videos about the Unit and the Italian Air Force, arousing interest in the young pupils.
The day continued with a visit to the various sections of the Wing and concluded at the 21st Flight Group where information material was handed out. The school groups had the opportunity to experience firsthand the reality of the 9th Wing, a unit engaged on multiple operational fronts.
