19 Italian and German boys and 34 girls created the International Youth Camp at the School of Foreign Languages in Loreto. The intense program of the International Camp allowed, among other things, to visit the seaside resorts opposite the Air Force logistics facility on the coast of Potenza Picena, the Aquafan and Oltremare water parks in nearby Riccione, the Frasassi caves, the Shrine and the City of Loreto, and to engage in recreational and sports activities using the brand new multipurpose field of the SLE at the Sedime di Porto Potenza Picena.
At the end of the “field”, during the farewell ceremony, Colonel Gerardo Contristano, Commander of the Department, emphasized the importance of this initiative and received appreciation from Mr. Gert Bewernick, responsible for the German group, for the hospitality and logistical support provided.
