Various solidarity initiatives promoted by the 41st Air Wing on multiple fronts. The Sigonella Airport Command has the task of providing technical, logistical, administrative and operational support to the 41st Anti-Bombs Air Wing and the squadrons deployed and in transit at the same Air Base, while ensuring the necessary services for the safe and effective performance of flight operations. Furthermore, it is responsible for providing air traffic services within the control area (CTR) known as Catania, which covers the skies of eastern Sicily and the adjacent seas, including the airports of Sigonella, Catania-Fontanarossa and Comiso.
