The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Force General Pasquale Preziosa, also spoke at the symposium.“Hypersonic: from 100,000 to 400,000 feet“. This is the slogan of the first symposium on hypersonic flight organised by the Air Force Military Studies Centre under the patronage of the Air Force, the Italian Space Agency and ENAV.
The conference, which opened on June 30, aims to represent a forum for discussion on the latest developments in the field of hypersonic flight, identifying possible synergies and new forms of national, European, and international cooperation that can exist in this sector. The Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, Air Squadrone General Pasquale Preziosa, also spoke at the symposium, emphasising three key concepts: to believe, to invest, and to cooperate.
A hundred years after the first flight, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force believes it is necessary to face new challenges that offer Italy the opportunity to move forward as a country, building a European dream while at the same time thinking in a transatlantic context.
With courage towards the stars. Citing the motto of the Air Force, the Chief of Staff summarised his thoughts, highlighting the need to look towards the future with courage, to believe that this is the future because hypersonic is a very ambitious but not impossible challenge to overcome.
