Gen. S.A. Pollice, Commander of the Rome Air Squad, concluded the three-day meeting, which was chaired by Gen. D.A. Corsini, Commander of Milan's Combat Forces, with his address.
General Corsini, after having reviewed the state of implementation of the guidelines set during the previous meeting held in May at the 6th Wing based in Ghedi (Brescia), introduced the packed agenda of topics. The opportunity for a direct assessment of the different experiences of the Units represented by their Commanders allows for the definition of reference standards and solutions that not only make command action more effective but also speed up the response to contingent situations or those arising from the implementation of new directives.
General Pollice highlighted the effectiveness of such meetings, which allow for a careful assessment of the situation against Armed Forces guidelines, proving to be a valid decision-making tool for the actions the High Command is called upon to undertake. General Pollice also wanted to express that the results obtained by the Departments are in line with the most optimistic expectations, considering these moments of comparison as a factor contributing to the achievement of predetermined objectives.
