On Monday 17 May at the Trapani base, the first ‘off-site’ session, requested by the Deputy Head of SMA, was held to bring the top management of the F.A. closer to the Departments. The delegation was received by Colonel Bruno Strozza, Commander of the Wing, who accompanied the guests to a briefing room to explain the organization of the Wing and to allow a brief exchange of observations between the top management of the Armed Forces and the staff of the Commander. Subsequently, the senior officers began their meeting in a venue prepared for the occasion and, after visiting the Control Tower and the premises of the 10th and 18th Flight Groups, they returned to Rome aboard a C-27J aircraft of the 46th Air Brigade of Pisa.
