Three fuel runs carried out by the KC-130 aircraft from Pisa have enabled the HH-101A aircraft from Cervia to extend its flight activity for more than six hours. This is a new operational capability. The KC-130 “tanker” aircraft 46th Air Brigade and the HH-101A Cesar helicopters of 15th Air Wing of Cervia they reached an New milestone in the ability to extend the flight mission of rotary-wing aircraft, thanks to the possibility of making repeated refueling in flight during the same mission.
