On Sunday, April 11, the Aviano Airport Command participated, with volunteer personnel, in the 14th edition of the initiative
The event, which brought together volunteers from civic and military institutions, private citizens and local associations, once again demonstrated the strong bond that exists between the local community and the ‘Pagliano e Gori’ military airport. In this regard, the participation of the local base was complete, as the Italian military worked alongside their colleagues from the 31st US Air Force Fighter Wing and volunteers from the ‘Rosario Scarpolini’ non-profit association, formed by personnel from the base to actively engage in volunteer work. The day began with the distribution of necessary equipment at the Roveredo in Piano municipal hall and continued with the usual cleaning of the town’s streets; it then concluded with a convivial lunch held at the Alpine Club headquarters.
