Scholarships were awarded to the most deserving students during the traditional annual meeting at Palazzo Aeronautica. Today, Friday 14th December, the annual award ceremony for scholarships assigned by the National Organisation for the Children of Aviators (ONFA) to beneficiaries who distinguished themselves at the end of their schooling took place in Rome, at Palazzo Aeronautica. “The Our mission is to guarantee the children of our less fortunate colleagues the right to education and to help them build a future.“, stated the President of ONFA, Air Force General (ret) Paolo Magro, during his speech. “These Prizes are meant to be an incentive, to encourage children to always give their best, with the hope of spurring them on to achieve those goals that the parent would undoubtedly have wished for them. Since 1930, ONFA, with the support of the Air Force and through voluntary contributions from personnel, both serving and retired, and benefactors, has assisted the children of military personnel who have died from any cause throughout their entire period of education, from nursery school to university.
