You have overcome a difficult challenge through your experience, commitment, and professionalism, which will allow you to face the future important commitments and great responsibilities that the Department is called to with the same determination.“.
Colonel Nastasi, during his speech, stated that he was aware that in order to face the challenges of his new role, he would have to rely on the experience and professionalism of all the personnel in the Department, declaring: “We will operate together, do our duty, and be called upon to do whatever is necessary to always maintain the prestige of this Department at the highest levels.“.
General Leonarduzzi's speech highlighted how the Air Force is placing great emphasis on the 6th Light Maintenance Regiment (Aeronautica Militare), which will have to“to continue accepting the challenge of change and modernisation which will require, from everyone, the highest and deepest professional motivation”.
Colonel Maurizio Nastasi comes from the 2nd Division of the Logistics Command, within which he was responsible for the logistic management of the “Tornado” fleet, “Role Equipment” systems, and “Operational Support” systems.
