NATO Air Policing mission “Northern Lightning” in Iceland concluded” CAt a solemn NATO flag-lowering ceremony, held at Keflavik Airport in Iceland, the “Northern Lightning” mission officially concluded after approximately one month. The mission saw men and women of the Italian Air Force's Task Force Air (TFA) 32nd Wing operate to ensure the defence of Icelandic airspace, as part of NATO's Air Policing activities.
