This is the title of the book dedicated to General Michele Leo, a pilot from San Vito who held prestigious and important positions in the Royal Air Force. The presentation of the book, which was attended by religious, civil and military authorities, was enriched by the speech of Dr Arnaldo Travaglini, head of the Brindisi editorial staff of La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, and Lieutenant Colonel Enrico Errico of the Air Force Historical Office.
The event, sponsored by the Municipal Administration of San Vito dei Normanni, which has included it in the calendar of events of “The summer season“, which began with the notes of the national anthem, concluded with the reading of a personal message from the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, Air Squadron General Pasquale Preziosa, in which he congratulated them on their commitment and attention towards the Air Force and its history.
