Three days dedicated to observation, numerical modelling, air traffic control services, meteorological watches, and much more for a delegation from the UAE Meteorological Service. The Centre for Operational Meteorology (COMET) was established in 2015 following the restructuring of the Armed Forces' meteorological sector. It carries out the technical-operational activities, at national and international levels, necessary to meet the meteorological and climatological needs of the Armed Forces, Defence, and the Country through weather monitoring and forecasting, the collection, processing, and dissemination of data and products, the development of specialised applications, and the management of a meteorological database.
