The National Acrobatics Patrol and the A.M. Band participated in the celebrations in Rome
On Thursday morning, March 17, the Tricoloured Arrows painted the Italian flag in the sky of Rome, in conjunction with the laying of the wreath at the Shrine of the Unknown Soldier by the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano. An Italian flag that ideally extended from the capital to the entire country and united all Italians from north to south. The Tricoloured Arrows are recognized as a symbol of Italy, both at home and abroad. With its Italian-made MB-339 aircraft and its breathtaking performances, the Air Force acrobatic flight division in fact expresses in spectacular fashion the capabilities and technology of our country.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Air Force Band, composed of professionals from the best conservatories in the country, held a concert in the picturesque setting of the Pantheon square. Furthermore, a section of the A.M. Band was part of the inter-service musical formation that held a concert at the Altare della Patria on the evening of March 16, during the ‘Notte Tricolore’.
