A delegation of students of the “Fides” course of the Air Force Military School in Florence visited Palazzo Madama, the Quirinale and Montecitorio. Subsequently, the delegation visited the Presidency of the Republic and Montecitorio Palace, the seat of the Chamber of Deputies, where the “Fides” course, received by the Head of the 4th Defense Commission of the Chamber, Dr. Adriano Picone, visited some of the symbolic places of the Palace, in particular, the Corridor of the Busts, the Sala della Lupa, where in June 1946 the birth of the Republic was announced, the Transatlantico and the Emiciclo.
The objective of the visit was to bring the students closer to the institutional offices of the State.
An initiative, included in the training program of the current school year and in line with the educational proposal of “Douhet”, which, within its activities, also includes a strong interaction between the school environment and the social and civic community.
