The Cocer of the Air Force and the Coir of the Logistics Command have met with personnel from the Sardinian authorities. These meetings are part of a project by the military representation, begun in the first months of 2013, which aims to inform personnel about the activities of the Cocer and to inform the base in an accurate and comprehensive manner about the issues under discussion in the institutional bodies.
After the customary greetings to the Commanders of the Departments, the Cocer delegation carried out its information activities, encountering considerable participation from the military personnel.
In addition, the Cocer had the opportunity to present the latest news to the many present, but above all it took on board the requests coming from the grassroots level and committed to bringing them to the attention of the military summit.
During the three meetings, it was possible to emphasize the strategic importance of the “Polygons System in Sardinia”, which sees Cocerimpegnat work to protect the post-work areas in compliance with the current laws regarding environmental protection and the safety and health of workers and citizens.
The Central Representation has therefore committed itself to requesting more resources for the maintenance of the logistical structures vital to the functioning of the Entities themselves, which, moreover, represent a significant source of income for the island’s economy.
The military representation at the Intermediate and Central levels will continue the visits to the Repartiche, as they have expressly requested through the representatives of the Base.
