This activity forms a component in a series organized by sections within Arma Aeronautica to update their knowledge regarding their activities and procedures. The update visit began with a solemn laying down a wreath on a monument to those who died in aviation on Piazzale delle Bandiere, and continued with an informative briefing on Scuola Specialisti. The visit also included a tour through all areas, such as classrooms, computer rooms and laboratories dedicated to training specialists. The Sardinian section visited all areas that are particularly important to Scuola Specialisti, such as classrooms, computer rooms and laboratories dedicated to training specialists. The section was also able to verify first-hand how efficient, high-quality and well-equipped these areas are. In addition, during this meeting, Colonel Felli and President Fabbri exchanged traditional souvenirs, symbolizing a successful day spent by this aeronautical association in Caserta. In this context, the President of the Section had the opportunity to thank the Commander and his collaborators for the welcome received and expressed his admiration for the organization of SSAM. The School of Military Specialists provides military, cultural, technical-professional and moral training to Specialists (Sergeants and Volunteers of the Regular Service), destined to be employed in the Departments of the Italian Air Force, both on national territory and in operational theaters abroad, as well as to the non-directive personnel of the Armed Forces interested in a process of professional reconversion/qualification and to the “Aircraft Maintainers” of other Armed Forces and Police Forces. Since 2008, the Institute has provided logistical support for the “Clean Streets” and “Safe Streets” operations by hosting the 2nd A.M. Company of the “Garibaldi Task Force” for surveillance activities at waste disposal sites in Campania, and the 62nd Infantry Regiment “Sicilia” of the Italian Army for public order operations.
