Viale dell’Aeronautica Militare is the name given on Tuesday 31 August to the municipal artery that connects the Air Detachment with the town of La vecchia ‘Via Cala Francese‘ has indeed been renamed ’Viale dell’Aeronautica Militare’ in honor of the Armed Forces that, present on the island for more than 50 years, have always represented a point of reference both for activities strictly related to institutional duties and for the strong and heartfelt closeness to the local population and institutions.
