Organizzato dal Centro Operativo per la Meteorologia, il Workshop ha ospitato le delegazioni di Tunisia, Algeria e Marocco per un confronto sui cambiamenti climatici e le relative ripercussioni sulla sicurezza nel Mediterraneo Nei giorni 19 e 20 Settembre ha avuto luogo a Roma un seminario dal titolo Workshop on “Meteorological observations to tackle climate change effects”, organizzato dal Centro Operativo per la Meteorologia (Comet) of the’Italian Air Forceal quale hanno preso parte anche delegazioni di Tunisia, Algeria e Marocco.L’iniziativa 5+5, negli anni, è risultata essere particolarmente funzionale ad affrontare la cooperazione in materia di sicurezza e difesa tra i Paesi membri che si trovano a fronteggiare sfide comuni, mirando a rafforzare e promuovere attività pratiche nei settori della Sorveglianza Marittima, della Sicurezza Aerea, del contributo delleArmed ForceshelloCivil Protectione della Formazione e Ricerca. Nel dettaglio, ogni anno vengono annualmente approvate, in questo contesto, ad opera dei rispettivi Ministeri della Difesa, attività che mirano ad aumentare la mutua conoscenza, condividere strategie di prevenzione e contrasto alle comuni minacce e promuovere l’interoperabilità tra le Forze Armate dei diversi Paesi membri.
