An event that bears witness to the closeness of the Wing's personnel to local ecclesiastical institutions. Before the celebration, Monsignor Zenti inaugurated the new bell tower of the Church and blessed the statue of Our Lady of Loreto placed at its base, which was taken from the “Tomaso Dal Molin” military airport in Vicenza in 2008.
During the visit, the Wing Commander, Colonel Roberto Poni, briefed the esteemed prelate on the main activities of the Unit and the Air Force Garrison bodies in Verona, in particular the Main Infirmary of Villafranca, the 112th Auxiliary Depot of Sanguinetto and the 27th Field Engineering Group. The event concluded with a modest reception and the signing of the Visitors' Book by the Bishop, who expressed his full esteem and appreciation to the personnel in Villafranca for the work they carry out daily and the goodwill they show towards the Institutions of the Church.
