The final competition of the military golf championship took place at the Acquasanta Golf Club in Rome. The challenge, which began last February in Morocco, concluded with the Rome leg and saw the participation of numerous players belonging to all the Armed Forces. Following this important result, Lieutenant Colonel Giorgio also took part in the C.I.S.M. (International Military Sports Council) World Championships, held at the US military base in Jacksonville, Florida (USA), finishing first among the Italians.
