The Military Aviation Historical Museum houses the historic aircraft that was supplied to the 70th Stormo of Latina. For the occasion, in addition to the Commander of the Sports Historical Center A.M., Colonel Alessandro Gresta, and the Director of the Historical Museum, Lieutenant Colonel Pierluigi Poletti, also present were the Commander of the 70th Stormo of Latina, Colonel Giovanni Francesco Adamo. The aircraft on display, marked with the serial number 54436, wears the traditional orange livery, emblematic of this trainer, and bears the figure 235,500 on the tail fin, corresponding to the total number of hours flown on this type of aircraft since its entry into service in 1976. The most important aircraft that the Military Aviation has had in its possession are kept at the Historical Museum of Vigna di Valle, including those used in the period preceding its foundation.
In addition to preserving the historical heritage entrusted to it in the best possible condition, the Museum carries out important restoration work within its own premises.
The last, in chronological order, was that of the Imam Ro.43 aircraft, which was exhibited to the public in November 2011.
