MP Antonio Tajani, accompanied by Senator Francesco Battistoni, visits the Air Force Marshal School / Viterbo Airport Command. On Monday 21 May, the President of the European Parliament, MP Antonio Tajani, visited the Air Force Marshal School / Viterbo Airport Command. Upon arrival at the unit, President Tajani, accompanied by Senator Francesco Battistoni, was welcomed by the Deputy Commander of the Air Force Marshal School and Viterbo Airport, Colonel Leonardo Moroni. During the brief meeting, Colonel Moroni outlined the school's organisation to President Tajani, focusing in particular on the educational/training aspect and the unit's peculiarities. For President Tajani, the visit to the school was a pleasant return to the past, having worn the Air Force uniform as a young officer and air defence controller. The visit concluded with the presentation of the crest of the Air Force Marshal School and a dedication in the guestbook in which President Tajani recalled that “It is always a great pleasure to visit an Air Force facility, and this one in particular. The training of Warrant Officers is fundamental to the growth of the Air Force. Proud to have worn this uniform, I send my best wishes for success to all.“.
