42 years spent in the Air Force, from the campaign in Italian East Africa to the war operations with the Anglo-American army in 1944. Class 1909, M.lloGrinover enlisted in January 1929 and, in particular, participated in the campaign in Italian East Africa, the war operations on the Italian-Yugoslav and Tunisian fronts, then again in Italian East Africa remaining a prisoner of war for two years, and finally, from 1944 to the war operations with the Anglo-American army. The brief but intense event took place in a climate of great cordiality in the presence of the Mayor and numerous friends and admirers. Representing the Aeronautica Militare was personnel from the 2nd Missile Maintenance Department who brought the salute of General of the Air Division Pier Luigi Leonarduzzi, Commander of the 2nd Division of the A.M. Logistics Command. Particularly emotional was the moment when, while leafing through the book given to him, M.llo Grinover saw the photos of his Ansaldo S.V.A. aircraft and recalled his 42 years in the Italian Air Force, especially mentioning his service in the 87th Serenissima Squadron and the tennis matches he played with the Duke of Aosta. M.llo Grinover was awarded the Order of the Republic, four War Merit Crosses, a Medal of Merit for military operations in Africa and a War of Liberation Badge.
