The Chief of Staff of the Logistics Command visited the 2nd Missile Maintenance Department in Padova. After an informative briefing on the department’s competencies and activities, the General inspected the maintenance and storage facilities for materials. The visit concluded with the signing of the Honor Roll and the delivery of the Department Crest.
The 2nd Missile Maintenance Department, subordinate to the 2nd Division of the A.M. Logistics Command, ensures the technical, logistical and maintenance management of the HH-212 helicopter, the Air Defense Aerea Terra/Aria missile systems, the onboard armament and the ground-based armament provided to the Air Force. It also performs the functions of the Air Guard Command, providing logistical and administrative support to all the entities in the Patavina area.
