On Thursday, September 20, the handover ceremony took place. GiOn the 20th of September, at the Sala degli Eroi of Palazzo Aeronautica in Rome, in the presence of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General of the Air Squadron Settimo Caputo, the ceremony of succession in the office of Chief of the 1st Department “Organization and Personnel” of the Air Force took place, between the outgoing Brigadier General Carlo Moscini and the incoming Brigadier General Romeo Paternò.
During his speech, General Paternò expressed his gratitude to the Higher Authorities for the trust placed in him to be appointed Head of the 1st Division, emphasizing the importance of the major challenges posed by the radical and rapid changes associated with the downsizing of the Armed Forces as set out in the regulatory framework, the transition from representation to unionization, the reorganization of career paths, housing policies, and welfare policies.
