During their visit to Grosseto, the students were able to observe the Eurofighter aircraft up close. The visit is part of the activities planned under the Study Plan for marshal students undergoing training at the Viterbo Marshal School/Airport Command.
After greeting Colonel Morelli, Commander of the 4th Wing, the group, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Luigi Grassi, Course Commander, proceeded to the flight line where, under the guidance of the expert personnel of the Aircraft Maintenance Group (GEA), they were able to observe the Eurofighter aircraft up close, in all its details.
An important and highly educational opportunity for young people who have recently completed their courses in Aerodynamics and Aircraft Engines.
During the visit, the students also had the opportunity to access the equipment room, where pilots put on their special flight suits, and the flight simulators.
At the end of the day, the students presented the “Phoenix” course crest to Colonel Morelli.
