The territory of Tuscia and the Scuola Marescialli dell’Aeronautica Militare of Viterbo provided the backdrop for the gathering of the “Falco IV” course. Upon joining the Aeronautic Academy in Pozzuoli in 1986, the gatherers wanted to spend a weekend together to once again experience those feelings of cohesion typical of those who belong to the same course and to demonstrate that the commitment made to the community 25 years ago is more relevant than ever. Upon their arrival, the gatherers were warmly welcomed by Colonel Antonio Coppola, Commandant of the school and also a member of the “Falco IV” course, who gave the honors of the house. After paying homage to the Institute Flag kept in the Commandant’s office, the participants took the opportunity to get to know the facilities and the reality of the school dedicated to the training of future marshals of the Armed Forces. During their stay in Viterbo and in order to deepen their knowledge of the territory, the guests visited the city, in particular the historic center of medieval origin with its interesting archaeological and thermal zones. Viterbo, in fact, known as the “City of Popes”, in the XIII century fused pontifical and for about 24 years numerous Popes. The Scuola Marescialli dell’Aeronautica Militare/Comando Aeroporto di Viterbo has the task of providing military, cultural and moral training and specific professional education for the non-commissioned officers of the Marescialli Role of the Armed Forces. Moreover, as an airport open to civil traffic authorized, it guarantees the services of assistance to air navigation in the airspace of competence.
