Established on 17 October 2014, as part of the national operation “Prima Parthica” and the multinational operation “Inherent Resolve”, the ITNCC/TFA Kuwait ensures unity of command and the synergistic and coordinated use of KC 767A, Predator and AMX flight assets. The mission of TFA Kuwait is to meet the in-flight refuelling needs of coalition assets using its KC 767A; at the same time, TFA Kuwait is tasked with contributing to the definition of the coalition's situational awareness through the deployment of its AMX and Predator Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets. These produce high-quality imagery which is then processed by the Intelligence cell and provided to the coalition in the form of analysis.
