On Monday 31st January, Air Squadra Aerea General Carmine Pollice visited the ‘Helmut Seidl’ Wing in Gioia del Colle.
During the visit, General Pollice was able to observe the continuous infrastructural and operational transformation of the Department, also taking a flight with the ‘Picche’ and ‘Strali’, the identifying symbols of the X and XII Flight Groups respectively.
In his farewell address at the end of the lunch with the staff, he expressed appreciation for the work carried out by the 36th Wing, both in daily activities and during significant commitments for the entire Armed Force. A commitment that, like all other AM Departments, will have to prove increasingly effective despite the drastic reduction in human and economic resources.
