General of Air Force Mario Martinelli met with the personnel of the Air Force Historiographical and Sports Centre.
On this occasion, General Martinelli, welcomed by Colonel Alessandro Gresta, Commander of the Agency, greeted all personnel present inside the sports hall, including a large representation of athletes and technicians training in Vigna di Valle.
General Martinelli expressed words of praise for the work carried out by the Historical Museum, with the recent presentation of the restored RO.43, and for the outstanding results achieved by the athletes and technicians of the Sports Centre in the most important national and international events, not forgetting the work carried out in support of these activities by the departments operating within the airport grounds.
“The results achieved in 2011 bring lustre and fame to the entire Armed Force and this must be a source of pride and encouragement for all personnel serving at Vigna di Valle.” highlighted General Martinelli during his address, “2012 will be an important year to be lived in synergy and cohesion.”.
