Tuesday 22nd December The Air Force Operations Command organised a concert performed by the Air Force Band. On Tuesday 22nd December, for the fourth consecutive year, the Air Force Operational Command (COFA) at Poggio Renatico (Ferrara), with the patronage of the city of Ferrara, organised a concert performed by the Italian Air Force Band, once again meeting with approval from the authorities and the public present at the Municipal Theatre.
Many citizens, despite the difficulties in travelling, even on foot, due to the ‘polar’ cold, accepted the Italian Air Force's invitation and punctually at 6:30 PM presented themselves at the entrance of Ferrara's ‘Comunale’ stadium, enthusiastically attending the performance of the Band conducted by Maestro Lieutenant Colonel Patrizio Esposito.
Air Marshal Leandro De Vincenti, Operational Commander of the Air Force and of the Combined Air Operations Centre 5, in his brief welcoming address thanked the Institutions and the City for their continued and sensitive attention towards the men and women of the Air Force. The packed ‘Comunale’ Theatre, filled to capacity, certainly represented the most beautiful and significant image of an unforgettable evening.
