For the occasion, the Italian Air Force Band performed again in the city of Este.
The free-entry event is the renewed tribute that the C.O.A. has dedicated to the city of Ferrara, also on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy.
Countless citizens, despite the adverse weather conditions, accepted the Italian Air Force's invitation by turning up at the entrance of the Ferrara “Comunale” to enthusiastically watch the performance of the Band, conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Patrizio Esposito.
Air Squad General Mario Renzo Ottone, Commander of the C.O.A. and of the Combined Air Operation Center 5 (CAOC 5), in his brief welcoming address, thanked the Institutions and the City for the ongoing and attentive regard shown towards the men and women of the Italian Air Force. The packed Municipal Theatre provided the most striking and meaningful image of the event.
