The 'Cinque Valle Air Show' live on Rai Uno

The air show, filmed by Rai Sport cameras, featured the participation of the “Frecce Tricolori” aerobatic team and other Italian Air Force aircraft.
The event, which featured both civilian and military aircraft and helicopters, as well as aerobatic champions and display teams – including some from abroad – was broadcast live on Rai Uno from 4.35 pm, confirming – with an average share of 14.22% – and around one and a half million viewers, the general public’s connection to “Azzurro Tricolore”, a Rai Sport programme now in its eighth consecutive year and a regular fixture on the television schedule for aviation enthusiasts. “Italy has a big heart”Together for Emilia’ is the slogan under which all solidarity initiatives for the populations affected by the earthquake last May have been gathered, both through fundraising on-site and via the ”SMS” set up by the Civil Protection. A heart drawn in the sky also by the smoke of the “Frecce Tricolori” (Tricolour Arrows), who wanted to underline the country's closeness to their friends in Emilia. Among the most appreciated performances of the event – which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Aero Club itself – were those of the HH-3F helicopter from the 15th Stormo CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) of Cervia (RA), Tornado and AMX aircraft from the Flight Experimental Department of Pratica di Mare (RM), as well as the National Acrobatic Patrol. With short recorded segments, two important operational realities of the Air Force, both located in Tuscany, were presented: the 4th Stormo of Grosseto and the 46th Air Brigade of Pisa.
