General Graziano visited the Army Group deployed at the Air Operations Command in Poggio Renatico to support the populations affected by the earthquake
Upon his arrival, General Graziano was received by General of the Air Division Mirco Zuliani, Commander of the COA and the CAOC5, in the presence of General of the Corps of the Army Danilo Errico, Commander of the 1st F.O.D. (Operational Defense Forces) of Vittorio Veneto, and Colonel Salvatore Tumminia, Commander of the Group. Subsequently, the Head of S.M.E. visited the Group, composed of approximately 300 men, deployed starting Saturday 29 May in Poggio Renatico, thanks to the logistical support provided by the military and civilian personnel of the Air Force Base, in support of the populations of Emilia affected by the earthquake.
General Graziano, after receiving the Crest of the Department from General Zuliani, signed the Roll of Honor by writing: “With admiration, I express to Your Commander and to all the personnel the sign of my esteem and brotherhood.”.
