Frosinone Airport hosted a charity concert at the Officers“ Club. The project, part of various charitable activities organised by A.I.L., "comes to life thanks to the big heart of the 72nd Wing's staff”, as declared by Dr. Maddalena Murchio, Provincial President, during the press conference. It will be precisely the staff of the 72nd Wing who will support the important charitable initiative for the young patients of the Province of Frosinone for a period of twelve months, allowing children to have adequate paediatric assistance locally, avoiding the discomfort of having to travel to specialist centres in Rome each time. The jazz gospel concert, entitled “Emotions in Flight” is one of the events aimed at raising awareness among local authorities and citizens to ensure the continuation of the project, already extended for a further eighteen months thanks to the contribution of some local businesses. The concert was performed by a quintet of internationally renowned musicians, called “Jazzology”. At the end of the event, the Commander of the 72nd Wing, Colonel Elio Volpari, while greeting the distinguished guests, expressed his gratitude to the personnel for their swift response to the appeal from A.I.L. and Dr. Murchio.
