The attendees of the 14th Advanced Joint Staff Course carried out an educational visit to Grosseto Military Airport.
Upon their arrival, the attendees, comprising 48 Italian officers and 8 foreign officers, were welcomed by Colonel Michele Morelli, Commander of the Wing. After a brief welcome address, he outlined the unit's activities, its current aircraft, and its future commitments and objectives.
After attending the simulation of a scramble, guests were accompanied by Colonel Morelli to visit the Base, in particular Flights Groups IX and 20, the 904th Aircraft Efficiency Group (G.E.A.) and the brand-new “Air Synthetic Training Aids” (A.S.T.A.) building, the future home of Flight Group 20.
