On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th April, the seminar for the Heads of Administrative Services of southern Italy was held in Gioia del Colle.
Proceedings began with a presentation by Brigadier General Claudio Manna, Head of the Commissary Department, and Brigadier General Domenico Intini, Head of the Administration Department, who thanked the Commander of the 36th Wing, Colonel Gianpaolo Marchetto, for his hospitality and warm welcome, and outlined the purpose of the conference and the topics to be covered. The subjects addressed were main and supplementary pay, military personnel accommodation, concession contracts for Social Protection Bodies, procedures for writing off and decommissioning equipment, updates to the Procurement Code, and the new and important features operating on the administration directorate's website.
The first day concluded with the address by Inspector General Raffaele Tortora, Head of the Commissariat and Administration Service, who greeted the staff present and underlined the importance and usefulness of such meetings, which allow for productive discussion among administrative operators, for the debate and potential resolution of issues connected to administrative activity. The second day was characterised by the presence of the managers of Consip S.p.A., who illustrated the new potentials, products and functions of the Electronic Public Administration Market (MEPA) Portal, and the book ‘Consip: il significato di un’esperienza’, by Danilo Broggi, Chief Executive Officer, was presented. General Intini, in his closing remarks, wished to thank the participants for the work carried out.
