In 18, some Cadet Officers of the Italian Air Force belonging to the Altair II Course, who were studying at the Officers’ School in Viterbo, accompanied by the Chaplain of the School, Don Fabio De Biase, participated in the 12th Pilgrimage on foot to the Shrine of Divine Love in Rome last September 14 and 15. The Pilgrimage procession set out at midnight on September 14 from the FAO Palace to reach the Shrine of Divine Love after more than five hours of walking and meditation; here Mons. Enrico Feroci, President of the Oblates of the Madonna del Divino Amore, presided over the Holy Mass. The initiative was organized by the Military Ordinariate for Italy and chaired by Mons. Santo Marcianò, Military Ordinary Archbishop. For the 20th Altair Course Alumnus Masters, who have just begun their second year of studies, the Pilgrimage represented a unique journey of prayer and sharing, an experience that cannot be repeated for the atmosphere and sensations experienced, and an important moment of reflection in this particular period of their lives and careers.
